First version of the rules:

EACH DAY(*) YOU CONNECT TO THE GAME:
- Your character's main fleet earns 20 new ships
- Your character's other fleets earn 2 new ships each
- Your character earns 1 promotion point
(*) time and dates are managed in UTC

PROMOTIONS:
- Rear admiral (3 promotion points required, 2 fleets allowed)
- Vice admiral (7 promotion points required, 3 fleets allowed)
- Admiral (12 promotion points required, 4 fleets allowed)
- High admiral (18 promotion points required, 5 fleets allowed)
- Fleet admiral (25 promotion points required, 6 fleets allowed)

NEW FLEETS:
- You will be allowed to create a new fleet each time your character is promoted or looses a secondary fleet (if the main fleet is lost, the character dies).
- A new secondary fleet must be created with at least 40 ships. As the ships are taken from the main fleet, that means that the main fleet must have at least 41 ships.

MOVES AND STRATEGIC BONUS:
- It takes 12 hours for a fleet to move from one starzone to another.
- Strategic bonus (marked with a clover icon on the map) are collected by the first player who connects to the game after his fleet has reached the square containing the bonus.

SKIRMISHES AND BATTLES:
- When 2 enemy fleets meet, a skirmish begins. If the fight lasts at least 12 hours or involves at least 3 players, the skirmish turns into a battle.
- Skirmishes and battles remain active 12 hours after a cease fire.

> Experience points:
- 1 XP point is given to each fleet remaining on the battlefield after a cease fire.
- When a fleet is destroyed, its XP points are lost.

> Strategic points:
- You can play only one strategic card per fleet and per day.
- When you play a strategic card, its points value is chosen randomly between 1 (no effect strategy) and 9 (maximum effect strategy).
- Strategic points do not cumulate between allies, so only the best card from each side is taken in account.
- When both sides draw the same strategic card value, both strategies are discarded.
- When a character dies, his cards are not lost. His successor will inherit them.

> Power balance:
- The power balance percentage is calculated based on the number of ships, experience and strategic points. Strategic points are very important in the calculation, so a small fleet that draws a terrific card can turn the face of a battle!

Small update of the rules, with this correction:

In the first version, I (wrongly) wrote that the value was chosen when the card is played.
Well, what's the difference anyway?
It makes no difference since the value is still randomly chosen. Except that if the value is chosen when the card appears on the map, there can be no suspicion of an unfair code coded by an unfair game developer, because no one knows who will pick it up :)
But you still have to believe me when I say that the value is chosen at appear time ^^

(this post has of course nothing to do with the fact that I just drawn a 8 two times in a row... :lol: )
