I suggest to delete the old users account or delete the fleets of old users.

Example :
1) von Lohengramm (last connection : 23 august 2016)
2) Shields (last connection : 21 october 2016)
3) Voltaire (last connection : 22 december 2016)
4) Jaeger (last connection : 2 febuary 2017)

When we look the statistics, we can see 6 players for "Free Planets Alliance" and 8 players for "Galactic Empire", but, it's not exact because players stop to play.

Von Lohengramm is a special account, he is the Kaiser of the Galaxy, so I'm not sure that he agrees to be deleted ;)

Concerning the others, I don't think we should delete the accounts, but maybe show only the "active" players in the statistics.
But what is an active player? and will I be able to find in the data when each player was active or inactive in the timeline?
Maybe we can start by trying to define what is an active player (active last 24h? last week? last month?).

Concerning the inactive fleets, I think that the enemy should be able to "delete" them :)

Ok.
I'am for just desactive the inactive players.

By example, I think Shield is inactive because his last connection was october 2016 (5 months ago). Ships of Shield are on 3 zones (Dagon, Shiva and Doria). Because this zones are occupied, we don't have bonus card on this zone.

I suggest to considere a account is inactive when there are no activity during 2 months.

We have 2 special accounts, one for each side: Von Lohengramm and Wen-li (for those who don't know LOGH universe: these are the two guys represented on the start page of the game)
Von Ryder and I know the passwords for these accounts.

For now these two accounts are only used to take snapshots (they are not restricted to only one snapshot per day as standard accounts); I often log in as "Wen-li" in that purpose.
But maybe we could use them for something else: Wen-li could be granted the right to move any FPA fleet, and Von Lohengramm to move any Imperial fleet.
So admins (Von Ryder and I) would be able to move these "sitting ducks" fleets!

I like that idea a lot! As opposed to probably halving the FPA fleet lol.

That sounds pretty good! I assume this means inactive players can return and take their fleets back over at any point? So far "abandoned" fleets were more or less just left to sit and eventually be destroyed, now they would be taken care of, either temporarily or permanently. I reckon in-universe this would happen if a commander was ill or otherwise incapacitated of taking care of his or her fleets - the leaders of FPA and Empire would step in and put those forces to good use.
