I think it's the first time since the start of the game that we can see this case:

I'm changing something.

Let's say (pure speculation ^^) that FPA has SP 6 and GE has SP 9.
Since the beginning of the game, what happened if GE plays a 6?
6 < 9, so the 6 was not taken in account.
So we stayed at 6 to 9.

Now if GE plays a 6:
6 = FPA best card value, so both 6 are discarded.
And GE keep his 9.
So that makes 0 to 9.

I think it will make battles more interesting :)
(I was not able to fully test this update, I hope there won't be a bug... please report anything suspicious when you play a new card)

Yep we will have to watch more carefully.

But the main improvement is in this kind of case:

GE has :
- a better SP
- a lower power balance
- less ships
- no chance of reinforcements

In this case, with the old operating mode, the situation was hopeless for GE: the battle was already lost.
Now there is a tiny bit of hope!

I made a small change:
Before, strategic cards where discarded at the end of the battle/skirmish.
Now they are discarded sooner: at cease fire time.
So if the fight restarts after a cease fire, you will have to play again even if you had a 9 before the cease fire.

I was thinking: should there be some very rare (for example: one in a hundred) very powerful (for example: SP 100) strategic cards?

I fear that too powerful card too destabilizes the game. I would suggest a rather rare card that would have for sure a SP 9 (or 10).

J'ai peur qu'une carte trop puissante ne déstabilise trop le jeu car celui disposant d'une telle carte serait pratiquement assuré de gagner sa bataille.
* Je proposerais plutôt une carte rare qui permettrait d'avoir avec certitude un SP de 9 (ou 10). Autrement dit, au moment de faire son choix de sa carte SP, le joueur aurait le choix entre une carte aléatoire donnant un SP de 1 à 9, ou bien, une carte dorée beaucoup plus rare, qui lui permettrait d'avoir un 9 ou 10 avec certitude.
* Ou alors, on pourrait aussi imaginer une carte SP qui aurait pour pouvoir de supprimer le SP de l'adversaire.
* Ou une carte SP qui réinitialise l'état SP du combat. Les 2 équipes auraient 0 en SP mais toutes les flottes auraient à nouveau le droit d'utiliser une carte SP (comme si on avait changé de jour).
Tout ça pour dire que je ne suis pas super chaud pour une carte très puissante, et je serais plutôt partant pour une carte qui ajoute une dimension stratégique au jeu. Après, il faut aussi voir ce qu'en pensent les autres. Si une majorité de personnes désire une carte SP de 100, il n'y aura pas de problème pour moi.

- a "-1" card because a strategy is not necessarily always good.
