Just as strategic bonuses, could we imagine having a rare, collectible bonus that allows the player who uses it to move to the next spot in 6 hours instead of 12, or to move twice as far as it's normally allowed (for instance, from Iserlohn you directly reach Van-Fleet, or Schann-Tau, or Alviss). This would be allowed by the warping technology. Although we can't warp entire fortresses yet :p It could also affect a battlefield, as reinforcement can come faster or a fleet can attack by surprise...

I'm really curious how this will play out! Just for the record (perhaps I overlooked or forgot it): how many fleets will be warped at once? Just the one fleet that found the warp card, all of the player's fleets in the same star zone, or even all friendly fleets in the same star zone?

Good question!

Just as the strategic cards, the warp cards can be played by any fleet of the player who owns the card.
And 1 warp card = 1 warp for 1 fleet.
Once you have warp cards and you have activated the warp mode, it works the same way as standard moves, except your fleet moves instantly (see picture below).

It seemed the most logical and simple to me, but if it proves to be not optimal, it can certainly be improved; we'll see

up: we now have the number of warp and clovers card in the corner
down: they aren't very visible/readable...maybe just making it a bit bigger would be enough? or use another color than white?

Thanks for explaining Charlock, that sounds good to me. I also agree with Ryder; the new display is terrifically practical and I really enjoy it, but if it could be made a little bit bigger and/or coloured it would be 110% perfect.
